HAD AN ACCIDENT?

Here’s what to do:
  • Choose Graham Bodyworks Greensborough or Eltham. We repair your vehicle according to manufacturers’ specifications using only genuine parts.
  • If you need a tow truck at the accident scene, call 13 11 76 for towing allocation.
  • Tell the tow truck driver to tow your vehicle to Graham Bodyworks Greensborough or Eltham. According to the Towing Act, you have the right to choose where your vehicle is towed. If an insurance claim is to be lodged, the insurance company will pay for the towing costs.
  • Do not be coerced by the tow truck driver, or another parties’ insurer into having your car towed to another repairer.
  • Do not admit liability to any other party.
  • Exchange details with all other parties’. This includes name, address, phone number, car registration number, make and model.
  • If possible, photograph the accident scene and other parties drivers licence.
  • Call Graham Bodyworks during business hours on 03 9435 1255 for advice on whether you should lodge a claim with your insurer or the other parties’ insurer.
If you are not at fault, lodging a claim with the other parties’ insurer may be the best option and may entitle you to a replacement vehicle.
